The most affordable option that we've found in winter is the Husky Farm Visit with a 1km Sledge Ride. It includes a short dog sled ride at a budget price, plus a chance to meet the dogs and learn about the farm.

If you're visiting during summer or auutmn, you can do this Husky Farm Visit with Apukka Resort which is a great budget option, with a short 500 m cart ride and husky petting.

When is the best time to do a husky safari in Rovaniemi?

If you're looking to do a husky safari in the snow, they typically run from late November to mid-April, when snow conditions are stable.

However, husky safari's also run during summer, autumn and early winter, so it depends what conditions and experience you're after.

We visited during late october to early november (early winter) and experienced light snow on our husky tours, although we were in carts and not sleds!
